Roles & Responsibilities
- Accountable for checking and supervising site works so that quality works can be achieved within specific time.
- Accountable for inspection of project materials delivered by supplier to ensure conformity and arrange for testing if required.
- Accountable for coordinating and sequencing works in accordance to master and detailed construction schedules.
- Accountable for compliance to safe work procedures and maintains good house-keeping.
- Accountable for proper deployment of workers, plants and machineries.
- Ensures completed works are completed and duly handed-over and defects have been rectified by relevant sub-contractor/suppliers.
- Arranges for deployment of workers, plants and machineries to various parts of sites.
- Prepares request-for-inspection checklist.
- Carries out daily inspection on site works with consultants and site personnel such as PE and RTO.
- Carries out daily inspection on sub-contractors works.
- Leads and delegates work to a team of workers.
- Attends site progress meeting, toolbox meetings and safety management meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from established Malaysia Colleges, local Polytechnics or NCCS CITI, Singapore.
- Certified in Building Construction Safety Course.
- 5 years of relevant civil experience in (Civil Engineering) Bridges/Roads/Container Stacking Yard/Tunnels.
- Must be able to understand and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
