ASSISTANT SITE ENGINEER WITH STEEL STRUCTURAL EXPERIENCE

Job Responsibilities

• Attend site meetings, inspections, and monitoring of project progress with the Main Contractor.
• Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk
• Other scopes of work to be assigned by the Managing Director
• Liaise with other departments to ensure information, materials or other resources to ensure project progress
• Any other tasks deemed necessary by the company related to the execution of projects

Requirements

-Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.

-Relevant experience in structural steel fabrication and/or erection. (at least 3 years experience)

-Able to read and interpret structural steel drawings and shop drawings.

-Knowledge of structural steel installation, bolting, welding and site coordination.

-AutoCAD knowledge

-Familiar with construction site safety requirements and WSH practices.

-Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

-Able to work independently and as part of a project team.

-Willing to work on construction sites and attend site meetings as required.
-Able to speak and writing in English.
