Our client is a Industrial Equipment Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Assistant Service Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with industrial generators, marine engines, electrical systems, and related equipment to identify causes of malfunctions or breakdowns.
- Recommend solutions and provide cost estimates for materials or services beyond standard service agreements.
- Assist in the installation of repaired or overhauled generators, engines, and electrical equipment.
- Support commissioning and testing of equipment to ensure proper functionality after installation.
- Conduct regular testing and inspections of company products to maintain quality standards.
- Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance of power solutions and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical guidance and advice to customers and internal teams as needed.
- Assist service engineers in planning, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance and service activities.
- Document and submit detailed service reports, including fault findings, causes, rectifications, and preventive recommendations.
- Provide feedback on equipment performance and customer observations to improve service quality.
Requirements:
- Min NITEC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering studies or equivalent.
- Min 3 years relevant working experience in service engineering solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
