NUS OAR

The NUS Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) fosters a lifelong relationship between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and its alumni. It provides a platform for alumni to stay connected with the University and each other through various programmes, events, and networking opportunities. OAR supports alumni in their personal and professional development, encouraging their involvement in university initiatives and community service. By promoting a vibrant and engaged alumni network in Singapore and globally, OAR aims to strengthen the NUS community, enhance its reputation, and contribute to the university's mission of excellence in education, research, and service to society.

The candidate will oversee strategic partnership management with internal university units and 3P stakeholders, and drive the execution of partnership strategies, programmes, and initiatives aimed at fostering alumni cohesion and participation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with university and 3P stakeholders to identify new opportunities for engagement and partnerships.
  • Shape strategic direction and drive partnership outcomes.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver programmes and initiatives to create meaningful interactions and bring alumni together.
  • Conduct regular feedback to assess the effectiveness of P&Is and identify areas for improvement.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A good Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 8 years proven experience in stakeholder management, international relations and/or partnership development roles, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • An independent and strategic thinker with proven ability to structure partnerships, evaluate opportunities, and build relationships across diverse stakeholders
  • A natural connector and collaborator, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously, meeting moving deadlines and achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to do charts in excel and interpret data.
  • Willingness to work after office hours and on weekends, when required.
