Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and generate leads to achieve revenue targets.
- Execute sales strategies and manage client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct technical discussions and product presentations with clients, including procurement and R&D teams.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, service, and payment collection.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in plastics, chemicals, or manufacturing industries. Experience with plastics-related manufacturers or distributors is preferred.
- Strong understanding of polymer materials and their industrial applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English and business-level Japanese for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Japanese business culture and etiquette.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Comfortable attending client entertainment activities.
- Experience working with Japanese MNCs or suppliers in the plastics industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of sustainable or specialty polymers is an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events.
- Possession of an international driving license is an added advantage.
