Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and grow assigned key client accounts, ensuring long-term partnership and customer satisfaction.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including Japanese-speaking stakeholders, handling communications in Japanese and English as required.
  3. Organize and lead regular client meetings, workshops, and discussions to understand business requirements, clarify expectations, and align on solutions.
  4. Prepare, review, and maintain professional written communications in Japanese, including emails, meeting minutes, proposals, reports, and presentation materials.
  5. Coordinate with internal teams and Japanese-speaking counterparts or overseas group companies to ensure accurate requirement translation and timely resolution of client issues.
  6. Proactively resolve client problems and handle complaints clearly and diplomatically, ensuring timely follow-up and documented responses in Japanese where required.
  7. Ensure project scope, budget, and timelines are adhered to, and communicate status updates to clients in clear written Japanese.
  8. Establish and maintain best practices for client communication, documentation standards, and account management processes.
  9. Monitor, analyze, and report sales and account performance metrics, preparing structured reports and summaries for management, including Japanese-language reports where applicable.
  10. Propose innovative ideas and improvement initiatives to increase sales opportunities, enhance customer experience, and strengthen client engagement, particularly with Japanese clients.


Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales account executive.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in both Japanese and English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English.
  • Hands on experience with customer service.
  • An ability to gasp clients needs and to increase customer engagement.
  • Solid knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical and time-management skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including AIassisted hypothesis- driven thinking for problemsolving and solution design.
