Job Description:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations including dining service, kitchen coordination, and overall guest experience.
- Supervise and train service staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to restaurant standards.
- Monitor food presentation, quality, and consistency according to Chinese cuisine standards.
- Ensure proper implementation of hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Assist in staff scheduling, manpower planning, and shift management.
- Support in inventory control, stock ordering, and cost management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.
- Assist in planning promotions, special events, and seasonal Chinese festival menus.
- Stand in for the Restaurant Manager when required.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a Chinese restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and dining etiquette.
- Good leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
