Assistant Relationship Manager

Job Description

The primary role of an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) is to support the Client Advisors in managing and servicing the clients in relation to their investments needs. This is an individual contributor role and sits within the External Asset Management (EAM) department.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of investment services for the clients.
• Ensuring the viability of AI status and KYC of potential clients.
• Ensuring all documentation is recorded and filed in an organized manner.
• Work with Client Advisors to ensure all documentations are submitted on time and all documents are properly executed in accordance with regulation standards.
• Ensure regular, systematic follow ups on investment matters to Client Advisors and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experienced in Private Banking, EAM, or Wealth Management support.
• Basic understanding of investment products, including equities, FX, bonds, funds, and structured products.
• Ability to execute trades and manage the full transaction lifecycle.
• Familiarity with private banking platforms and operational processes.
• Working knowledge of private banking, onboarding requirements and documentation.
• Basic understanding of KYC/AML requirements and the Accredited Investor (AI) framework.
• IBF Module 1 and CMFAS Module 5 certifications are a plus.
• Responsible, accountable, and proactive, with a strong commitment to service excellence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
