Job Description

We are partnering with a prestigious European private bank to appoint an experienced Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to support their Private Banking team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑growing platform with strong brand recognition and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Role Overview
The ARM will work closely with Relationship Managers to manage and grow a portfolio of HNW clients, ensuring seamless execution, superior client experience, and adherence to regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in supporting day‑to‑day client needs, operational processes, and portfolio administration.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Portfolio Support
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client information, documentation, agreements, and records.
  • Prepare client reports, presentations, and portfolio summaries for meetings and reviews.
  • Analyse client data and portfolio performance to provide insights and support advisory discussions.
Operational & Transactional Support
  • Process client transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and routine account requests.
  • Manage expense reports, operational workflows, and administrative tasks to free up RM capacity for strategic activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to MAS regulations, internal controls, and data confidentiality standards.
Client Servicing & Communication
  • Act as a key point of contact for client inquiries across phone, email, and digital channels.
  • Support clients with onboarding, account opening, digital banking setup, and updates to personal information.
  • Resolve day‑to‑day client issues related to statements, balances, fees, and transactions.
Business Support & Coordination
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communication between RMs and clients.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitor insights, and industry updates to support client conversations.
  • Assist in planning and executing complex client projects, tracking timelines, and identifying potential issues.

Requirements

  • CACS 1 & 2 certified (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Private Banking, ideally in an ARM or similar client‑support role.
  • Strong understanding of private banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin to support Greater China clients.
  • Detail‑oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client confidentiality.
