We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to support our Wealth Management and Fund Management teams. This role is instrumental in ensuring seamless execution of daily business activities, high-quality client service and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) and the Head of the Fund Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Relationship Managers and the Fund Team in day-to-day operations and client servicing
- Assist in executing client instructions and ensure prompt processing of transactions and services
- Handle trade orders, monitor fund movements, prepare account opening documentation and maintain instruction checklists
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as private banks and financial institutions on matters including trade execution, account maintenance and other client-related activities
- Monitor trade reconciliations and settlement of investment transactions across asset classes
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
- Assist with the marketing and preparation of new funds, investment outlook materials and related documentation
- Provide secondary support in portfolio monitoring and management
- Engage with partners and counterparties including custodian banks, securities firms, legal advisors, trust administrators and accounting firms
- Manage and maintain proper filing of client and firm documentation
Requirements
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance or related discipline
- Solid understanding of MAS regulatory requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly meticulous and detail-oriented, even in high-pressure situations
- Adaptable, with the ability to manage changing demands with professionalism and discretion
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent command of English, especially in business and professional communication
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required to manage Mandarin-speaking clients
