Assistant Project Manager

Job Responsibilities

1. Support end-to-end execution of E-House (Electrical House) projects, covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing and delivery.
2. Coordinate structural, architectural, electrical, HVAC, fire & gas, and cable management disciplines to ensure integrated design and execution.
3. Review and support development of E-House layout drawings, GA drawings, MCT, cable routing and equipment installation plans.
4. Assist in managing interface with OEMs, vendors and subcontractors for electrical equipment, cable trays, HVAC systems and architectural components.
5. Monitor fabrication and assembly activities at yard/workshop, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
6. Support installation of free-issued electrical equipment, cable trays, cables and termination as per project scope.
7. Assist in project planning, progress tracking and reporting including schedule updates and coordination meetings.
8. Participate in inspection, testing and mechanical completion activities, including punch list clearance.
9. Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with project, client and statutory requirements.
10. Support interface management with clients, consultants and certification authorities (DNV, ABS, BV, etc.)
11. Assist in preparation if method statements, ITPs and work packs for E-House execution.
12. Support FAT, SAT and final documentation handover for E-House systems.
13. Contribute to continuous improvement, lesson learned and standardization of E-House execution practices.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Instrumentation Engineering
2. Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in E-House, substation, offshore module, LNG or oil & gas projects
3. Hands on exposure to E-House design, fabrication, installation and testing
4. Experience working in EPC or modular fabrication environments
5. Yard / site execution experience is strongly preferred
6. Strong understanding of E-House systems, including Electrical equipment installation, Cable trays, cables and termination, HVAC, fire & gas and architectural systems
7. Ability to read and interpret GA drawings, layout drawings, MCTs, cable routing drawings, electrical single-line diagrams and schematics
8. Familiarity with international codes and standards - IEC/IEEE, DNV / ABS / BV (or equivalent certification bodies)
9. Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspections, FAT, SAT and mechanical completion
