ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to define project specifications and requirements
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to secure profitable agreements
• Determine and allocate resources including manpower, equipment, and materials within budget constraints from project start to finish
• Plan construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to meet project deadlines
• Acquire equipment and materials and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and delays
• Supervise laborers and mechanics, providing guidance to ensure quality and safety standards
• Identify and engage subcontractors and vendors to award subcontracts and purchase orders
• Partner with the Business Development Manager to secure new projects
• Maintain and monitor customer relations through project progress meetings, site visits, and project-related correspondence
