Assistant Project Manager

Control Schedules & Resources

. Set realistic schedules for assigned projects & monitor progress for on-time completion

. Attend project kick-off meeting & project de-brief

. Check for available resources (production & sub-con teams) and assign work scopes efficiently

Project Execution, Monitoring & Quality Assurance

. Site management including night works

. Understand thoroughly the design & concept of ID drawings for site execution

. Liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors & internal departments to ensure on-time project completion

. Attend all related project / site meetings & site inspections

. Conduct QC checks to ensure fixtures production are done according to client's specifications

. Prepare weekly project progress reports for client

. Participate in drawings & technical discussions with design & production team

Takeover & Handover of Projects

. Attend site takeover inspection & prepare report

. Attend completion handover inspection & prepare report

. Record & reconcile variations / additional work with QS

Team Management

. Plan for department key priorities to align with company's business goals & core values

. Lead the projects team to complete the all assigned project

. Motivate & empower teammates to take ownership for tasks at hand

. Create a platform for Learning & Growing among teammates

. Communicate effectively with project teammates to achieve the desired end result for each project

Requirements

(A) Education & Certifications (if applicable)
. Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Project Management

(B) Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
. At least 5 years in the relevant field

. Good knowledge of production & site works

. Good time management skills

. Microsoft Office / Projects and CAD functions

. Demonstrate strong leadership qualities

. Ability to motivate teammates and bring out the best in them

. Trustworthy, integrity, team player, proactive and attention to details
