COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our utilities and civil projects. You will assist in leading project teams, coordinating resources, monitoring schedules and budgets, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships. This role involves tracking project progress, identifying risks, preparing reports, and ensuring work is executed safely and efficiently. It is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to contributing to successful project outcomes.

  • Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, and project targets.
  • Manage all aspects of the project including project planning, maintaining client relationships, resources planning, budget reviewing, risk analysis and identification, problem solving.
  • Prepare detailed project plans for all phases of the project and continues monitoring to ensure that projects are proceeding according to the project schedule/plan.
  • Review cost estimates, project budgets and guide the team to achieve the project goals.
  • Review and monitor the procurement needs and resources and ensure the adequate resources are available to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
  • Responsible in preparing monthly reports, performance reports, budget updates for management review.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, potential risks and mitigation plans, and communicate across leadership.
  • Monitor staff performance and lead them to deliver their best outputs.
  • Identify and record the potential commercial impacts such as delaying events, additional works, etc. and alert the project manager or HOD.
  • Ensure all the works are carried out in accordance with all relevant statutory requirements and safety regulations.
  • Conduct weekly or monthly meeting with internal stakeholders and sub-contractors to monitor the progress of work.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or senior management in line with business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction industry, experience in HDD, 66kV, 230kV, or 400kV projects will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, independent, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong passion for delivering quality results with a keen attention to detail.
  • Possession of a valid Class 2 or Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage to support site mobility.

  • Work Schedule: 6-day work week.
