Assistant Project Manager (Electrical / Construction)

Job Responsibilities:

. Manage the day-to-day project activities, resources and meet up regularly with project engineers, site supervisors and workers.

. Plan and schedule for materials, sub-contractor, manpower to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

. Ensure the execution of the project in compliance with approved drawing and specifications requirements.

. Coordinate internal resources and sub-contractor/vendors for the smooth execution of projects.

. Well-versed in project works procedures and methodologies and able to coordinate a team of different disciplines to achieve the best results.

. Troubleshoot problems that come up during projects.

. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

. Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, main contractor, sub-contractor and suppliers.

. Take an ownership mindset and work cost-effectively and diligently.

. Maintain good communication with all staff and workers

. Any other ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time

Requirements:

. Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering

. 3 years experience in handling project management.

. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office

. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations

. Experience in managing and supervising construction teams
