As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for creating strong delivery processes and ensuring on-time delivery for your agile teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product from conception to multi-country rollout in production and provide visibility on progress and timelines to leadership and stakeholders alike. You will also ensure the teams work at a sustainable pace and continuously improve.
Responsibilities:
Leading projects across multiple agile teams as Scrum Master/ Agile Coach
Working with cross-functional teams of Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and QA to ensure on-time delivery
Managing the roadmap and execution plan - commitments, backlog, matching work to capacity, optimizing slower development loops, and highlighting risks
Making delivery progress visible to leadership and stakeholders
Iterating on work systems to help the teams increase accountability, flow, and efficiency
Developing systems to ensure risks, impediments, and dependencies are actively diagnosed and addressed
Building healthy collaboration for teams to work effectively across different time zones and locations
2+ years of experience leading teams through project/ feature development (planning, execution, delivery, post-release support) as Agile Project Manager, Scrum Master, or equivalent
3+ years of experience working with software development, preferably with enterprise SaaS solutions and/or integration with payments providers
Good experience applying Agile and Lean practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP, Automated Testing)
Good knowledge of Project Management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Excel)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
Outstanding organizational skills
