Responsibilities:
Product & Portfolio Management
- Lead the full spectrum of product planning responsibilities: consumer insights, market sizing, new product pipeline development, and go-to-market strategies to deliver growth across multiple markets.
- Develop a long-term innovation roadmap (3-5 years) for assigned categories, balancing core product renewals and new innovations.
- Analyze sales, marketing, and research data to optimize the regional portfolio, rationalize SKUs, and identify whitespace opportunities.
Product Innovation / Project Management
- Integrate consumer insights, concept testing, and HUTs into product development to ensure consumer relevance and market success.
- Analyze industry and competitive trends to refine product features and strengthen differentiation in the region.
- Collaborate with R&D on packaging and product design, ensuring technical feasibility, functional performance, and brand consistency.
- Ensure product concepts, formulations, and claims meet regional regulatory and certification requirements.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, QA/QC, Operations, and Finance to deliver project milestones on schedule.
Marketing Communication
- Provide clear product briefs and topline direction to the Brand and Digital Marketing team, aligning on positioning, key messages, and launch objectives.
- Work closely with the team to review and guide deliverables (creative assets, regional toolkits, activation materials) to ensure consistency with product strategy and market needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to cascade communication toolkits for regional adaptation and execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related function.
- At least 5 years of experience in brand/product management, preferably with regional or NPD exposure in FMCG or related industries. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills to identify opportunities and translate them into actionable innovation roadmaps.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of driving multiple regional projects under tight deadlines.
- Exposure to market research and tracking data (e.g., Nielsen, Euromonitor) to guide portfolio and innovation decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders across functions and markets.
- Independent and proactive team player with creativity and passion for product innovation.
