Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, negotiation and supplier evaluation.
Develop sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, quality and reliable supply.
Source, assess and manage suppliers based on pricing, quality, delivery and compliance.
Negotiate quotations, pricing, contracts and commercial terms with suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain sufficient stock.
Ensure timely procurement of materials, packaging and operational supplies.
Maintain supplier records and conduct regular supplier performance reviews.
Monitor purchasing costs, budgets and expenditure to support cost control.
Analyse quotations, pricing trends and purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Manage relationships with suppliers, service providers and contractors.
Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues relating to quality, delivery or service.
Oversee day-to-day administrative, office and facilities-related operations.
Manage office supplies, service contracts, company assets and related documentation.
Supervise the procurement team and ensure smooth daily workflow.
Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, contracts and other relevant documentation.
Develop and improve SOPs and processes to enhance procurement and administrative efficiency.
Ensure procurement and administrative activities comply with internal policies, controls and applicable requirements.

Support audits, documentation and compliance-related activities where required.
Ad hoc duties/ projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
At least 5 - 6 years of relevant experience in procurement and purchasing, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
Strong experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, cost control and vendor management.

Familiarity with quality management, food safety or audit requirements will be an advantage.
