Job Description

  • Strong understanding of construction industry practices and standards to perform planning and scheduling
  • Liaise with client, engineering, procurement and construction teams for purpose of developing a fully integrated baseline schedule
  • Coordinate and obtain input from project team members, contractors and suppliers to support the development of various programs
  • Prepare baseline schedule which includes resource and cost loadings
  • Develop and maintain project schedules on complex projects in conjunction with the project team
  • Update, track and report the progress against the planned, and checking of discrepancy
  • Progress forecast, preparation of working programs, rolling programs and updating of resources and histograms
  • Attend crucial project events to ensure compliance
  • Prepares reports on operations and activities, recommending improvements and modifications
  • Participates in budget preparation and administration, monitors and controls expenditures

Requirements

  • Possess a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in large scale construction planning and scheduling
  • Capable of tracking progress daily on site, work closely with frontline staff and reports and working programmes preparation
  • Able to work independently and produce programmes, narrative and histograms
