Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall operations of the store, including staff management, customer service, and daily sales performance
- Supervise and lead a team of retail staff; handle scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure accurate stock management
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and visual merchandising across the store and animal areas
- Ensure proper care and welfare of live animals, including feeding schedules, health checks
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Implement in-store promotions and drive sales targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and AVS (Animal & Veterinary Service) guidelines
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operations reports
Requirements:
- Prior experience in retail store management, preferably in pet-related or lifestyle retail
- Passion for animals and basic knowledge of pet care
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in POS systems and basic Microsoft Office tools
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
