We are looking for a hands-on and solutions-driven Assistant Operations Manager to support daily operations across our outlets. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth execution of operational processes, resolving on-ground issues, and driving continuous improvement to support business growth.
Job Description:
- Support the management of daily outlet operations and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
- Ensure operational processes are executed accurately, cost-effectively, and in line with Company SOPs
- Assist in planning and managing operations and maintenance programmes to comply with landlord and regulatory requirements
- Drive improvements in operational systems, processes, and best practices
- Monitor and control operational costs
- Support and implement projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure operational issues and emergencies are promptly addressed with minimal disruption
- Liaise with vendors, mall management, contractors, and authorities to ensure timely execution of works
- Follow up closely on service requests and operational matters
- Coordinate M&E works and fit-out projects for new and existing outlets
- Conduct regular audits and maintain proper operational records
- Support setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of POS systems, QR ordering, SAP, HR systems, and related hardware/software
- Handle basic IT troubleshooting and coordinate with vendors when necessary
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Operations Management or a related discipline (or equivalent)
- At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a chain restaurant or multi-outlet environment
- Familiarity with M&E works, fit-out projects, or outlet setup will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of quality and compliance standards such as ISO, GMP, or HACCP is a plus
- Comfortable working with MS Office, POS systems, and basic IT troubleshooting
- Strong sense of ownership with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and respond to operational needs after working hours when required
- Preferably able to start work immediately or within a short notice period
