To lead all preventive maintenance activities related to mechanical, track effectiveness of PM regime and propose reliability actions that is aligned with the company's ISO, GMP, FSSC, HACCP and QHSE requirements to drive further plant maintenance improvement.
To efficiently manage emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment and must possess the capacity to effectively liaise with resources (Internal and External) and guide team member in bridging job related technical deficiencies to prevent manufacturing downtime.
To lead improvement projects and manage internal/external resources to achieve set targets and spearhead project execution.
To monitor and perform data analysis of executed and completed equipment reliability action task in optimizing maintenance processes.
To assist in the planning, coordination with external vendors and preparation of all planned maintenance activities during plant shutdown to have smooth execution.
To closely monitor the Annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) Schedule execution and ensure allocation of required internal and external resources.
To lead and manage the mechanical team in providing emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment and perform remodeling and initiate improvements to equipment for better capability, performance ensuring compliance to the site's procedure for change management.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Job Requirements
NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
At least 5 years relevant maintenance experience in a process plant or manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting machinery and equipment
Exposure to a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as SAP, would be an added advantage
Willingness to support emergency maintenance work when required
