Position: Assistant Mechanical Engineer

Company: Fire Protection Solutions Provider for Commercial & Industrial Buildings
Location:Kallang Pudding Road
Working Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm

• Saturday: 8:30am - 12:30pm

(Occasionally may be required to work late or on Sundays off day will be compensated accordingly.)

Salary:SGD $3,500 - $4,500

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical drawings and drafting for fire protection systems (e.g. sprinkler, hose reel, fire piping layout)

• Assist in updating and revising drawings based on site conditions and consultants comments

• Support project documentation, submissions, and administrative work

• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and site personnel on technical matters

• Assist in preparing material lists, basic calculations, and technical records

• Maintain proper filing of drawings, documents, and correspondence

• Attend site meetings or inspections when required

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Engineer or Management

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

• Knowledge or experience in fire protection systems is an advantage

• Able to use AutoCAD or other drafting software

• Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and technical specifications

• Willing to handle both drafting and administrative duties

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Willing to work overtime or weekends when required (off-in-lieu provided)
