HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN
- Develop, plan and manage trade marketing related functions
- Implement effective trade tactical programmes, including cross-functional integrated promotions, developing innovative and actionable plans, securing partner deals across SEA and Hong Kong, executing targeted consumer marketing strategies, and engaging with stakeholders to drive results.
- Take charge of business activities aligned with objectives and in compliance with legal and policy requirements including activities executed by Trade Representatives
- Initiate and organise travel missions, trade briefings, travel fairs and related consumer and trade co-op programmes
- Maintain regular updates of the Trade Promotions pages on DiscoverHongKong.com and content curation for the Trade e-Newsletter
- Develop MICE market & business segment to generate MICE traffic to Hong Kong
- Establish and maintain rapport with travel trade through regular sales calls, product updates and other forms of engagements
- Keep up to date on market intelligence through a vigilant watch over travel trends, competitors activities, socio-economic, political developments in the markets of coverage and region as a whole
- Manage budgets to ensure execution of all programmes are within budget. Perform accurate and timely tracking and reporting of all results and expenses
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- University degree holder in marketing, tourism, business administration or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to be in rapport with different levels of staff as well as people from different nationalities and cultures
- Resourceful team player, results-oriented, self-motivated
- Able to multi-task with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work under pressure and work beyond normal office hours
- Good organisation skills, meticulous attention to details
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Duty travel is required
LOCATION:
• The position is located in our Singapore Office
• We do not offer moving allowances from other cities
