Job Summary
Lead the Supply Chain and Administrative functions for the Kitchen Unit, collaborating with Operations to optimize procurement, streamline administrative processes, and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead cost optimization initiatives by executing strategic procurement, sourcing effectively, and negotiating contracts to reduce expenses and enhance value
- Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle including monitoring, tracking, conducting timely reviews, and renewing contracts to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly to uphold contractor standards and maintain high service quality
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze procurement and operational data to identify trends and implement improvements in efficiency, waste reduction, and cost control
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee administrative and secretarial functions including preparing business reports, organizing stakeholder meetings, supporting budgeting and workplan cycles, and ensuring timely submission of billing and payment documents to Finance
- Ensure compliance with Halal certification standards and manage timely renewal of relevant licenses with the Singapore Food Agency (SFA)
- Provide leadership and mentorship to develop team capabilities and enhance overall performance
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer
Required competencies and certifications
- Higher Nitec or Diploma in Business Administration or related field
- Relevant work experience in supply chain management and administration
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications to support reporting and administrative tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills applied to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Analytical mindset demonstrated through problem-solving and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced environment
