Join our team as Assistant Manager Spa (Damai)at Grand Hyatt Singapore, where you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of Damai Spa & Fitness Centre. Working closely with the Director of Well-Being, you will help ensure that all spa services and experiences are delivered in accordance with approved brand standards and service sequences. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Wellbeing in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Damai Spa to ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service delivery.
- Assist in maintaining spa service standards, treatment protocols, and sequences of service in line with brand expectations.
- Supervise and support spa therapists and wellness hosts, ensuring optimal team performance, grooming standards, and guest interaction.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, manage feedback constructively, and ensure consistent service excellence across all touchpoints.
- Coordinate scheduling, appointment management, and resource planning to maximise operational efficiency and guest flow.
- Support training and development programmes for spa associates to uphold high performance and knowledge standards.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office to ensure a seamless and holistic guest experience.
- Assist in inventory control, cost management, and compliance with health and safety standards within the spa environment.
Qualifications
Note: Due to Singapores foreign worker work pass restrictions, only Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
- A diploma or degree in Spa Management, Hospitality, or Tourism Management is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Spa Manager or in a similar supervisory role within a spa or wellness setting.
- Formal qualifications in spa treatments (e.g., massage therapy, body/skin treatments) will be a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
