Assistant Manager/Senior Executive, Facultative Reinsurance Underwriting

Responsibilities

. An integral part of our underwriting team to assess risks and determine the coverage position

. Provide in-depth technical evaluations relating to the specific business line to the team's lead(s) on new business opportunities and renewals

. Cultivate and manage client relations for assigned cedants and business partners/intermediaries for ongoing and new businesses

Requirements

. Bachelor degree in a technical/mathematical discipine

. Relevant experience from non-life re/insurance industry, preferrably in Property, Engineering, Contruction or Onshore Energy

. Ideally 5 or more years experience in a similar capacity

. Certified in relevant insurance related professional qualifications

. Those with people management skills will be an added advantage

. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)

. Good communication and organisation skills

. Good time management

. Team player
