We are seeking to appoint a full-time communications professional to strengthen the School's corporate communications function. This position will focus on managing external and internal strategic communications, media relations, social media engagement, and key publications-areas critical to enhancing SSHSPH's reputation, visibility and stakeholder engagement in the region.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Communications
. Develop and execute integrated B2B and B2C branding and communications strategies that strengthen the School's reputation and advance organisational objectives.
. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to lead the development of compelling, audience-centric content across traditional and digital channels, including thought leadership pieces and key messages.
2. Media Relations
. Develop and implement media relations strategies to enhance the School's visibility and thought leadership in public health.
. Serve as the primary point of contact for media enquiries, manage interview coordination, and provide timely, accurate responses to journalists to foster strong media relationships and safeguard the School's reputation.
3. Social Media Management
. Grow and manage the School's social media presence in alignment with institutional priorities and target audience needs.
. Plan and maintain editorial calendars across social media platforms, ensuring timely publication of content with a consistent brand tone and voice.
. Develop engaging copy and visual assets to support brand storytelling and drive meaningful audience engagement.
4. Analytics and Reporting
. Leverage Meltwater and other analytics tools to monitor media coverage, social media performance, and sentiment.
. Produce regular performance reports and insights on communications effectiveness, audience engagement, and return on investment to support senior management decision-making.
5. Publications Management
. Execute the production of key publications, including the Annual Report, corporate brochures, and newsletters.
. Manage budgets and coordinate with designers, printers, and external vendors to ensure high-quality layout, production, and timely distribution.
