Job Summary


The Assistant Manager - Project Freight and Pricing (Freight Management) is responsible for preparing customer proposals and/or tender documents and fulfilling orders, from identifying customer needs, developing proposals. He/She is also responsible for managing customers and coordinating with colleagues during the entire process. He/She is also responsible for managing freight business resources, including manpower, internal assets and external vendors.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)


Develop freight shipment solutions for improvements and/or closing gaps
Maintain relationships with vendors, carriers, freight fowarders and port authorities to provide competitive shipping solutions to customers
Monitor lapses in delivery of logistics services to customers
Implement intervention strategies to mitigate gaps in delivery of logistics services
Communicate to employees on the variations in rating principles, states as well as operator variations
Manage carrier ranking or customer priority system to ensure strategic business is protected during periods of capacity shortage
Manage teams in the workplace
Develop measures to improve vendor management capability in the organization

Job RequirementsProfessional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

5-8 years of relevant experience will be preferred

Singaporean only
