Job Description

The NTU University Advancement Office (UAO) supports the University's giving mission by fostering meaningful relationships and strategic partnerships with philanthropists, alumni, business community partners, corporations, foundations and friends that result in goodwill and philanthropy towards education and research.

The Assistant Manager, Prospect Development Analyst Team supports the NTU's fundraising and engagement priorities through identifying quality prospective donors and delivering high quality and insightful prospect research profiles and analysis, in line with best practice. This will enable fundraisers to engage successfully with prospective donors, playing a crucial role in supporting the University fundraising and engagement strategies, to achieve the University's fundraising goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect identification and qualification.

  • Prospect analysis and reporting.

  • Database and information management.

  • Collaboration with Fundraising Team on profiles and due diligence.

  • Ensure compliance and ethics in research.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

  • At least 3years experience in managing customer relationship databases and conducting due diligence on individuals & entities, preferably in fundraising sector with prospect research exposure.

  • Knowledge of the nonprofit sector and fundraising.

  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.

  • Excellent written communication skills, with a high standard for accuracy and clarity.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights.

  • Strong ethical judgment and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
