About CrimsonLogic
CrimsonLogic builds the digital infrastructure that keeps global trade moving. Wholly owned by PSA International, we develop trade facilitation platforms, port community systems, and digital government solutions used across 40+ countries. If you've ever wondered what sits between a shipping container arriving at port and a government clearing it for entry that's the kind of problem we solve, at scale, with technology.
Our Group Marketing & Communications team is lean and high-impact. We cover brand, demand generation, events, and communications across the entire CrimsonLogic portfolio. There are no passengers on this team.
The Role
We're hiring an Assistant Manager to strengthen our PR & Communications portfolio both internal and external. This is a role with real scope: you'll shape how CrimsonLogic is perceived by media, partners, governments, and our own people across multiple geographies.
You'll report into the Group Marketing & Communications lead and work closely with business units, senior leadership, and external agency partners. But day to day, this is your portfolio to run.
What You'll Do
External Communications: Develop and execute CrimsonLogic's media and PR strategy press releases, media pitches, thought leadership positioning, awards submissions, and crisis communications preparedness. Build and maintain relationships with journalists and external PR agencies. Monitor the media landscape and surface insights that matter to leadership.
Internal Communications: Own the internal comms function townhalls, intranet content, and change communications. Make internal comms something people actually want to read.
Executive & Leadership Messaging: Draft, shape, and quality-control communications from the CEO and senior leadership speeches, messages, talking points, and corporate narratives that land with precision across different audiences and contexts.
Storytelling & Brand Narrative: Work across business units and geographies to find and tell stories that amplify CrimsonLogic's position in trade technology and govtech. Translate complex B2B/B2G propositions into narratives that resonate with different audiences.
Who You Are
You have 36 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, journalism, or a related field. You write well not just grammatically, but with the ability to shift register from a board-level memo to an all-hands email without missing a beat.
More importantly, you work the way we work:
You figure things out. You don't wait for someone to hand you a playbook. When you hit something you don't know, you research it, ask the right questions, and move forward. You're resourceful before you're dependent.
You push back. If a press release draft is weak, you say so. If an internal comms plan has gaps, you flag them. We want someone who challenges the status quo constructively not someone who nods along and executes without thinking.
You take ownership. This isn't a support role where you assist someone else's vision. This is your portfolio. You set the agenda, manage the execution, and are accountable for the outcomes.
You're hungry. You're motivated by growth in your skills, your career, and your impact. You're drawn to environments where you'll be stretched, not ones where you'll be comfortable.
Experience in technology, supply chain, logistics, or B2B/B2G environments is a plus but not a dealbreaker. What matters more is that you can get up to speed quickly in a complex domain and aren't intimidated by subject matter you haven't encountered before.
Why This Role
You'll get exposure to global operations across 40+ countries and work at the intersection of technology, trade, and public sector innovation. You'll have direct access to senior leadership and the autonomy to shape a communications function that's still being built which means your ideas will actually get implemented, not buried in approval chains.
This is a career-building role for someone who's ready to step up and prove they can run a portfolio, not just contribute to one.
If you don't tick every box but you recognise yourself in the mindset we've described apply anyway. We'd rather hire for how you think than what you've already done.
CrimsonLogic is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We hire talented and passionate people of all backgrounds and create an inclusive workplace for all employees to develop and build their career with us.
