Job Responsibilities
Editing & Technical Mastery (50%)
- Edit and produce elevated, compelling content that resonates across diverse audiences and platforms.
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, with strong awareness of contemporary editing styles and narrative techniques.
- Apply advanced knowledge in encoding, colour space, transcoding, and video compression to ensure output quality across formats and channels.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, AI tools, plugins, and workflow enhancements to futureproof operations.
Leadership (20%)
- Lead, manage, and refine the full postproduction pipeline to ensure deliverables meet creative, operational, and budget expectations.
- Mentor and guide editors and postproduction talent, cultivating strong storytelling instincts and technical craftsmanship.
- Establish and enforce bestinclass postproduction practices, setting benchmarks for quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Oversee resource allocation, project prioritization, and workflow optimization to support longterm content scalability.
CrossFunctional Collaboration & Creative Partnership (20%)
- Serve as the key bridge between Production and Postproduction teams, advising on preproduction planning, technical needs, manpower requirements, and feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and creative leads to maintain unified creative intent and uphold premium production standards.
- Partner with content strategists and brand teams to ensure the effective and strategic use of digital assets across campaigns, corporate platforms, and social channels.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders to manage expectations, ensure transparency, and troubleshoot challenges.
Strategic Content & Asset Management (10%)
- Oversee the longterm value of raw assets and edited materials, ensuring content is organized, archived, and futureready for repurposing across corporate, brand, and marketing initiatives.
- Leverage strong storytelling instincts to position the brand, its leaders, and its people in the most impactful and authentic light.
- Develop guidelines for content repurposing, versioning, and localization, maximizing the lifespan and reach of visual assets.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of handson experience in video editing or postproduction, including demonstrated leadership in a studio, agency, or inhouse creative environment.
Other Prerequisites
- Candidates with exceptional portfolios or showreels will also be considered.
- Experience managing complex, multideliverable projects from concept to final output.
- Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong working knowledge of After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
- Familiarity with both online/offline editing workflows, proxy editing, highres conform, and color pipelines.
- Comfortable navigating media management systems, cloudbased workflows, and collaborative editing environments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative direction clearly and constructively.
- Strong negotiator and collaborative team player who thrives under pressure and adapts quickly to shifting priorities.
- Highly organized, detaildriven, and able to juggle multiple concurrent projects in a fastpaced environment.
- Proactive, curious, resourceful, and committed to continuous improvement, both personally and across the team.
