About the Role
We are seeking a marketing specialist to support the build-out of our trade marketing function. This role is crucial for our demand generation and lead acquisition initiatives, specifically targeting new and existing advertisers. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in the execution of multi-channel campaigns, focused on generating high-quality leads, nurturing them, and enabling our sales team with effective tools and content. You should be highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and results-driven with a passion for digital marketing and lead generation.
Responsibilities
Demand Generation & Lead Acquisition
- Plan, execute, and manage digital lead generation campaigns across channels such as email, social media, content syndication, and paid media to acquire new advertisers.
- Manage the lead funnel from initial contact to conversion, ensuring seamless lead handoff to the sales team and meticulous tracking of key metrics.
- Use data from performance insights to optimize campaigns and content, focusing on improving conversion rates and overall ROI.
- Identify opportunities to win back dormant accounts through targeted, data-driven campaigns.
Sales Enablement & Content Marketing
- Develop and maintain sales enablement materials, including decks, media kits, case studies, and presentations, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand story.
- Produce engaging marketing content, such as newsletters, whitepapers, and blogs, designed to nurture leads and build our thought leadership.
- Support the planning and promotion of events and webinars, specifically targeting lead capture and engagement.
Collaboration & Resource Management
- Work closely with the sales, creative, and data teams to align on demand generation goals and deliverables.
- Assist in budget tracking for campaigns.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-6+ years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or trade marketing, preferably within the media/publishing industry or agencies.
- Proven experience in executing and optimizing digital lead generation campaigns.
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Google Analytics, and basic understanding of research tools like Nielsen or Comscore.
- Strong writing, design, and presentation skills to create impactful marketing materials.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Please note that this position will be on a 2-year contract.
