Join IMDA's Digital Industry and Talent Group, where the Talent Development division is dedicated to building a strong talent pipeline to position Singapore for success in the digital economy.
As part of HCC's Talent Development team, you will play a pivotal role in managing the SG Digital Scholarship-a flagship programme designed to identify and nurture top digital talent who will drive Singapore's Digital Economy and lead the Infocomm Media (ICM) sector into the future.
[What you will be working on]
Programme management of the SG Digital Scholarship, a unique industry scholarship under IMDA's SG Digital Leadership Accelerator. Responsibilities include:
SG Digital Scholarship Management
- Outreach and Attraction: Identify partners and platforms to promote the scholarship and attract top talent.
- Selection and Onboarding: Oversee candidate selection during the annual application cycle, manage offer processes, and onboard new awardees.
- Scholarship Administration: Maintain scholar records, manage contracts, ensure compliance, and oversee budget disbursements and reporting.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary liaison for assigned scholars, fostering relationships, identifying developmental opportunities, and monitoring their academic and career progression.
Young Talent Development
- Design and implement structured development programmes for scholars, including mentorship, team-building activities, and industry exposure initiatives.
- Organise and support community building efforts such as networking and alumni events.
- Develop and execute efforts to showcase scholars achievements and profiling opportunities.
- Plan and execute the annual scholarship ceremony, ensuring a meaningful and engaging experience for scholars, stakeholders, and partners
Process Improvement and Digitalisation
- Support digitalisation, process automation and business process review to automate processes to enhance user experience and operational efficiency for scholarship management.
- Review and refine business processes for greater effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including institutes of higher learning, private sector partners, and public agencies involved in scholarships and entry-level talent programmes.
[What we are looking for]
- A recognised Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2-5 years of working experience in human resources, talent development/ management, scholarship or grant management.
- Familiarity with the tech ecosystem or tertiary institutions is advantageous
- Good understanding understanding of the Infocomm Media (ICM) industry and a passion for nurturing young talent and professionals.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills to assess situations and make sound decisions.
- A self-driven, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in working with technology platforms and tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
