Key Responsibilities
We are strengthening SATS Operational Excellence (OE) and building a data-driven organisation to enhance productivity, reliability, and decision-making. This role drives continuous improvement, supports dashboarding and development, and partners with Business Units to deliver measurable operational and cost results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support OE/CI projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and service reliability.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure strong project management, including close follow-up, milestone tracking, and sustained implementation.
- Conduct time studies, manpower/resource optimisation, capacity modelling, and workflow redesign.
- Support the development of dashboards: integrate data flows, build dashboards, analyse trends, and enable faster decision-making.
- Strengthen process discipline through SOPs, KPIs, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional problem solving.
- Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams across Operations, Finance, Tech and other BUs.
- Coach and train operational teams in OE tools, Lean thinking, and data-based decision-making.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, or related fields
- 58 years experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering, or Operations
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; PMP or Black Belt is an advantage
- Strong analytical capability with proficiency in time studies, data analysis, process optimisation, and performance modelling
- Hands-on skills in dashboards/analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau), data visualisation, or automation preferred
- Experience leading projects and teams or cross functional teams
- Forward-thinking, innovative, strong project manager, and a self-starter who can work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels
