What The Role Is
As an integral member of our Financial Reporting team, you will play a key role in ensuring the sound internal control and compliance with statutes, policies and accounting standards.
What You Will Be Working On
You will be involved in the preparation of statutory financial statements and management accounts, fixed assets accounting and GST reporting. Besides the formulation of financial policies and procedures, you will also interact closely with our business units to provide financial advice and insights to facilitate business decision making.
This Role Provides You Key Opportunities To
- Prepare/ review monthly closing activities including preparation of audit schedules
- Involve in financial analysis and prepare presentation
- Gatekeep, manage and govern JTC's assets and/or inventory.
- Be involved in the process of statutory and internal audits.
- Support the constant review of policies, system changes and FRS applications towards lease arrangement, group consolidation, financial instruments for investments, to name a few.
What We Are Looking For
- Background in Accounting, Audit, or other relevant professional qualifications with at least 1-3 years of relevant working experience preferred.
- Experience in SAP and possess strong Microsoft Excel skill and knowledge in analytics tools like Tableau will be an advantage.
- Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure as well as possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable to communicate and interact with external stakeholders including ministries and government agencies.
- An effective team player and the ability to work independently.
