Job Type: Contract (2 Years)
Location: Singapore

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and analytical finance professional to support Financial Governance and Digitalisation initiatives within a dynamic public sector environment.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to policy enhancement, strengthen financial oversight, and drive automation and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and enhance financial policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and utilisation of banking products
  • Evaluate financial standing and risk profiles of tenderers
  • Analyse financial data to support reporting and management decision-making
  • Develop dashboards and reports using analytics and visualisation tools
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate finance processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, operations, and IT functions
  • Support ad-hoc projects and finance transformation initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline
  • At least 3-8 years of relevant experience in financial governance, audit, internal controls, or finance operations
  • Experience with data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Python, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, financial governance, and compliance frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-driven, structured, and able to work independently in a governance-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial governance, internal controls, or policy review
  • Exposure to automation, digitalisation, or finance transformation projects
  • Familiarity with public sector or regulated environments is an advantage
