[What the role is]
Working in the Finance Services Department, you will be responsible for the following:

- Perform finance and accounting functions, including but not restricted to accounting for daily revenue collection, accounts payable, month and year-end closing, fixed assets, fees and charges costing, bank reconciliations and prepare management reports
- Review of work processes for system enhancement and internal controls
- Lead in the preparation, consolidation, and submission of periodic returns
- Liaise with departments/divisions and ministries/agencies on returns and submissions
- Provide advice and support on financial matters
- Prepare audit schedules for statutory and other audits
- Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers

- A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Independent, hardworking, positive, and highly motivated, flexible, and resourceful
- Meticulous and able to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A good team player and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
