Assistant Manager/Manager - Electrical

We are seeking a skilled professional for the role of Assistant Manager/Manager - Electrical. This position offers an opportunity to lead projects and ensure exceptional quality in electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform site problem-solving and coordinate effectively with clients. Demonstrate strong engineering skills and knowledge of building services codes. Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards for materials and installations by suppliers and subcontractors. Oversee and control the quality of materials and equipment supplied for subcontractor installations. Create shop drawings and manage the coordination of technical documents. Develop work schedules and participate in client and internal meetings. Assist in daily operations including quality and safety management. Maintain effective coordination with the main contractor to minimize rework. Manage site materials and equipment to reduce waste. Foster communication with suppliers and subcontractors to prevent delays in progress. Identify and address nonconformance issues to prevent defects. Investigate new technologies and installation methods to enhance productivity. Monitor on-site progress and maintain clear communication with subcontractors and suppliers. Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant managerial experience within an M&E subcontractor environment, with a total of over 8 years of experience in the M&E engineering sector. Familiarity with ISO 9000 and OHSAS 18000 standards. Certification as an Internal Quality Auditor. Completion of the Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course.
