Role Summary: You will be responsible for leading and coordinating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives globally across X-Press Feeders, while supporting the Sustainability Manager in advancing the company's sustainability goals. This includes strategic planning of CSR activities, data collection and reporting, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to embed sustainable practices into operations and reflect them in the company's annual sustainability reports.

This role will also work closely with Amyas Valora Foundation (AVF)the philanthropic organisation representing the Hartnoll Familyto ensure strategic collaboration and synergy between the two institutions, while maintaining distinct organisational objectives.

You will play a vital role in convening the Sustainability Committee to revitalise board-level sustainability governance by delivering regular progress updates, coordinating reporting frameworks, and collaborating closely with leadership to support the development and execution of the company's sustainability strategy.

Role and Responsibilities:

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

  • Lead and coordinate the company's CSR initiatives globally in alignment with AVF's overall strategic direction.
  • Actively engage with employees, community partners, and other stakeholders to promote, organise and coordinate CSR initiatives. Foster a culture of sustainability and social responsibility within the company.
  • Represent the company at various CSR-related events, meetings, and conferences. Be willing to travel as needed to engage with stakeholders and support CSR initiatives and ESG strategies.

Sustainability and ESG

  • Assist Fleet Efficiency team on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters. Consolidate, analyse, and monitor ESG data to support informed decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Assist in the development and publication of the annual sustainability report, highlighting progress towards environmental and social goals. Ensure the report meets standards for accuracy, transparency, and compliance with ESG reporting frameworks.
  • Review, assess, and manage social and governance sector risks from ESG perspective.
  • Provide support for cross-departmental initiatives focused on sustainability and environmental stewardship, fostering a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement.
  • Any other adhoc tasks as assigned by your manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science/studies, sustainability, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years in CSR, sustainability, or a related field. Experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability reporting is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Able to work independently, think creatively, and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in sustainability reporting frameworks and metrics.
  • Enthusiastic, engaging, and passionate about making a difference.
  • Must be willing to travel for CSR activities, events, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Proficient in the English language, both verbal and written.
