Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to manage corporate events and support asset management operations. You will play a key role in the following areas:

  • Plan, develop and ensure the smooth end-to-end delivery of corporate events for DSTA.
  • Lead sourcing and procurement activities for events including developing scopes of work, managing end-to-end tender processes, establishing contracts for venues, event management companies, logistics, collaterals, souvenirs and professional services (e.g. technicians, photographers).
  • Continuously review and improve event management service quality to enhance efficiency and ensure successful event outcomes.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce event related SOPs, ensuring compliance with approved procedures, financial controls, and hospitality guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive event database to support data analytics and derive insights on guest profile, venue selection, budget utilisation, resource planning, and menu selection.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage the end-to-end asset management process, including bringing assets on charge, tracking accountability, coordinating disposal, and administering cost recovery for loss or damaged assets.
  • Degree in any discipline
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Adaptable, meticulous, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Outgoing personality with a strong passion for organising and managing events
