Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of retail leases, ensuring strong tenant relationships and optimal occupancy levels.
- Handle lease administration activities, including new leases, renewals, expiries, negotiations, and lease documentation.
- Evaluate tenant performance and identify opportunities to enhance long-term tenancy value and mall performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, retailers, and external stakeholders.
- Support the planning and execution of leasing strategies, tenant mix optimisation, and asset enhancement initiatives.
- Source and secure new retail concepts and brands that align with the property's positioning.
- Conduct market research and stay informed of retail trends and competitor activities.
- Negotiate commercial terms with prospective tenants to maximise asset value and revenue.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on leasing and tenant management matters.
- Prepare regular leasing, occupancy, and performance reports for management review.
Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 3-6 years of leasing experience within retail, commercial real estate, shopping malls, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong understanding of retail leasing practices, tenancy management, and lease negotiations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with retailers and key stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse tenant performance and market opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
