Assistant Manager, IT Audit - Major Financial Institution

Our client is a major financial institution with established presence in the region. It is seeking to hire an Assistant Manager, IT Audit to strengthen its audit team.

Responsibilities

As an IT Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audit reviews and site visits, working closely with key stakeholders to evaluate and enhance internal controls. You will perform continuous monitoring of assigned IT and Information Security functions, ensuring the company maintains effective audit coverage in line with evolving technologies, regulatory changes and operational developments. You will keep up to date with relevant regulations and industry best practices, such as MAS, APRA, RBI and SBV guidelines as well as contributing to strategic audit initiatives and support broader team projects.

Requirements

You will have strong academic credentials and at least four years of IT audit experience, preferably within the financial services sector. You should be well-versed in risk-based audit methodologies, IT general controls, cybersecurity frameworks (including COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST) and regulatory expectations around technology risk management. Professional certifications such as CISA or CISSP are preferred.
