Assistant Manager, IP Experience (Licensing & Activations)

Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Assistant Manager, IP Experience (Licensing & Activations) to support the execution and growth of our IP-led business across Asia.
This role sits at the intersection of licensing, retail activations and brand collaborationsand will be responsible for driving partnerships, managing licensees, and executing pop-ups and experiential projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Licensing & Partnerships
- Support the development and execution of licensing strategies across Southeast Asia and key Asian markets
- Identify, engage and onboard new licensees across categories (apparel, lifestyle, consumer products, etc.)
- Manage relationships with existing licensees, including coordination on product development, approvals, and launches
- Assist in negotiating commercial terms (royalties, MGs, timelines)
2. IP Activations & Pop-ups
- Plan and execute IP-led retail activations, pop-ups and experiential campaigns
- Coordinate with malls, landlords and partners on tenancy, setup, and operations
- Oversee merchandising, visual display, and on-ground execution
- Monitor performance (sales, footfall, engagement) and prepare post-event reports
3. Project Management
- Manage end-to-end project timelines across licensing and activation projects
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and IP owners
- Ensure timely approvals for designs, samples, and marketing assets
- Track deliverables, budgets, and operational milestones
4. Business Development Support
- Support in sourcing and evaluating new IPs, brands and collaboration opportunities
- Assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals and presentations
- Contribute to building a pipeline of partners across retail, brands and operators
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in licensing, retail, brand partnerships and event activations
- Strong understanding ofIP licensing and retail activation workflows
- Experience working with malls, brands or consumer product categories is a plus
- Strong project management and coordination skills
- Commercially driven with good negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
