Support the VP, Investment and Asset Management and senior team in monitoring asset performance against budgets, forecasts, booking pace, and market benchmarks (e.g., STR, Forward STAR, Lighthouse).
Prepare analyses of key operating metrics including ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, GOP, AGOP, and segment mix including variance analyses and performance reports for management.
Support performance review meetings with hotel operators, documenting key discussions, follow-up actions, and preparing minutes for management circulation.
Assist in preparing materials for Board papers, presentations, and investor reporting.
Assist in maintaining financial models for investment underwriting, scenario analysis, and valuation purposes across the hospitality sector.
Assist in coordinating semi-annual and annual independent valuations, including data collation and liaising with external valuers.
Conduct detailed market and sector research, including macroeconomic, tourism, and hospitality trends, to support investment and asset management strategies.
Assist the VP, Investment and Asset Management in evaluation of potential investments, due diligence coordination and liaising with brokers.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Finance, Real Estate, or Hospitality.
Approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in real estate investment, asset management, or hospitality.
Good financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint experience with Power BI or other analytical tools is a plus.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and results orientation, while also being a collaborative team player.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Genuine interest in the real estate and hospitality industry.
