Job Description

This role is responsible to ensure Gas and Related Services, COE, and their subsidiaries meet and align with Sembcorp Groups HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) policy and standards through implementation of HSSE management system, programs, audits, and provide advisory support.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of the HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) department to support Business CEO in assuring HSSE performance, including compliance to regulations and Sembcorp Group HSSE policies and standards through effective management system and robust surveillance programs. The responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Collect, track, and maintain HSSE data across operations.
  • Formulate SOPs and maintain HSSE manuals
  • Analyse trends, identify gaps, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in HSSE reporting systems.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly HSSE performance reports and slide decks for management review.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate safety performance effectively.
  • Schedule, track, conduct and coordinate internal and external HSSE audits.
  • Maintain audit records and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Prepare HSSE training materials and slides for internal awareness and refresher programs.
  • Maintain a training compliance tracker and ensure records are up to date.
  • Track and conduct incident investigations, ensuring timely closure and documentation.
  • Maintain a central incident library for learnings and sharing across teams.
  • Support HSSE initiatives, campaigns, and projects to strengthen safety culture.
  • Assist in compliance with corporate HSSE standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or related field.
  • 58 years of HSSE experience, preferably in energy, utilities, or industrial operations.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of HSSE management systems, ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001), and audit practices.
  • Good communication and presentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • MOM registered WSHO with minimum 5-8 years experience
  • Strong data analytical skills
