We are looking for a strategic, high-impact Assistant Manager, HR Business Partner to serve as a vital link between our business objectives and our people strategy. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, leveraging data and deep empathy to build high-performing teams.   • Partner with Business Units (BU) to align HR strategies with business goals, providing expert consultation on organizational design and workforce planning.
  • Spearhead organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during restructures, mergers, or shifts in business strategy through proactive communication.
  • Actively work with the relevant HR Teams (Talent Management, Learning & Organisation Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Shared Services) to continuously review areas of improvement of HR policies, benefits, programs, and processes
  • Collaborate with the Compensation & Benefits team to ensure internal parity and market competitiveness during annual merit cycles and promotional windows.
  • Actively participate and lead the review/enhancement of HR operational efficiency and standard operating process
  • Collaborate with the relevant HR Teams to deliver the annual HR cycles, initiatives, and strategic projects
  • Act as a consultant to managers and employees on complex performance issues, grievances, and conflict resolution, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  • Provide support in HR matters, including performance management, employment relations, HR processes, and systems
  • Provide leadership to the HR Senior/Associates under your care to operationalize HR administration and delivery whilst ensuring consistency across the Company/Business Units and compliance with the local regulatory requirements
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and labor laws, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance across the spectrum of HR activities.
  • Utilize People Data to identify trends (attrition, diversity metrics, hiring bottlenecks) and provide actionable insights to business unit heads.

Qualifications

You should:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Possess 5 or more years of experience in HR business partnering or equivalent role
  • Have In-depth knowledge of the Employment Act, Human Resource organizational policies, processes, and best practices
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Be able to collaborate with all levels of stakeholders and build a strong rapport with key business stakeholders
  • Have a proven track record in delivering people initiatives and contributing to the success of the business
  • Display strong organization skills and ability to work under pressure despite competing priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift rapidly.
  • Be willing to work at multiple locations/office sites

It would be great if you:

  • Have a valid IHRP-SP certification
  • Possess experience in the healthcare industry experience
