Assistant Manager, Horticulture (Contract Management) #HHLT

Pay: Up to $6,000
Location: Queenstown
Work hours: Monday - Friday, office hours

Job Scope

. Develop and implement horticultural maintenance programmes

. Conduct plant health assessments, diagnose diseases, pests, or deficiencies, recommend appropriate treatments and select suitable plants species for specific sites

. Manage and oversee landscape maintenance teams and contractors in daily operations

. Prepare horticultural reports, maintenance schedules, and inventory records

. Liaise with landscape contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities on horticultural matters

. Ensure compliance with NParks regulations and relevant local codes

. Monitor and maintain irrigation systems and soil conditions to support plant health

. Ensure landscape contractor adopts horticultural best practices

. Support landscaping improvement projects and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

. Minimum Degree in Horticulture, Certified Practicing Horticulturist (CPH), or related field

. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant horticulture or landscaping experience preferred

. Good knowledge of tropical plant species, soil science, and pest management

. Familiarity with NParks guidelines and Singapore's landscape industry standards
