Purpose and Scope

The Assistant Manager, Procurement Excellence will support procurement transformation across Group and Market teams, with a focus on S2P process excellence, systems enablement, automation and user adoption.

The role requires a candidate who can work across Procurement, Finance, Group Digital and Market teams to simplify processes, improve controls, support digital solutions and translate business needs into practical implementation actions.

Finance process knowledge will be advantageous, particularly in areas such as invoice processing, vendor master data, GR/IR, controls, reporting and compliance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Procurement Transformation and Process Excellence

  • Support procurement transformation initiatives to simplify, standardise and optimise end-to-end S2P processes.
  • Identify process gaps, control risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for automation or continuous improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into clear process, system and implementation actions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement solutions are practical, scalable and aligned with downstream finance processes.

2. S2P Systems and AI-Enabled Solutions Enablement

  • Support the implementation, enhancement and adoption of procurement systems, workflow tools and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Assess business requirements, support testing and work with stakeholders to resolve system or process issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, accuracy, compliance and user experience through automation, analytics and digital tools.
  • Track digital transformation KPIs across automation, adoption, cycle time and control improvements.

3. Stakeholder Management, Change and Governance

  • Coordinate project activities, stakeholder engagement, status reporting, testing, training and change communications.
  • Support user adoption for new procurement tools, process changes and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Work collaboratively across Group and Market teams, demonstrating accountability, clear communication and practical delivery discipline.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
  • Around 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in procurement transformation, procurement operations, process excellence, systems implementation or digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of S2P processes and prior exposure to procurement systems, workflow tools or supplier management platforms.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, automation, change management or cross-functional transformation projects.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; exposure to Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot or similar tools will be advantageous.
