Assistant Manager, Group Hospitality

Overview

The incumbent will support the management of hospitality services by overseeing vendor performance, ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance, and driving service quality and operational effectiveness at the institutional level.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned Group Hospitality portfolio (Group Hospitality covers Housekeeping, Waste Management, Pest Control, Landscaping, Linen & Laundry, and Portering Services).
• Drive vendor performance to achieve contractual KPIs, service standards, and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, regulatory requirements, audit standards, and workplace safety regulations.
• Monitor service quality and implement improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and user experience.
• Partner stakeholders and service providers to resolve issues, address service gaps, and support operational needs.
• Oversee contract governance, performance reporting, and documentation to ensure accountability and audit readiness.
• Support budgeting, procurement, and financial management to optimise resource utilisation and value for money.
• Lead or participate in projects and initiatives that strengthen service delivery, operational resilience, and organisational outcomes.
• Develop a collaborative and high-performing team culture through coaching, engagement, and knowledge sharing.

Requirement

• Recognised Degree, preferably in contract management in Healthcare / Hotel Setting / Horticulture, Certified Practicing Horticulturist (CPH), or related field
• Relevant experience in contract, vendor, or service management, preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or facilities environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
